YOUR RIGHTS

If you are a European resident, you have the right to access the personal information we hold about you and to ask that your personal information be corrected, updated, or deleted.

The Regulation grants data subjects a series of 8 important rights (which we undertake to respect):

  1. Right to be informed - Art. 13 and 14 GDPR. This right allows you to know, from the moment of collection, how that data will be used, to whom it will be disclosed or transferred, what rights you have regarding the processed data, etc.
  2. Right of access to data - Art. 15 GDPR. Allows you to obtain from us a confirmation as to whether or not personal data concerning you are being processed, and, if so, access to that data and other useful information.
  3. Right to erasure (right to be forgotten) - Art. 17 GDPR. Allows you to obtain from us the erasure of your personal data without undue delay. With the mention of exceptions, such as the idea that some data are processed to provide the public with the right to information, that they are processed for statistical or archiving purposes, that they are processed for the fulfillment of a legal obligation, or that we process them for the establishment or defense of a legal claim.
  4. Right to rectification - Art. 16 GDPR. Allows you to obtain from us, without undue delay, the rectification or completion of inaccurate personal data concerning you.
  5. Right to restriction of processing - Art. 18 GDPR. It is a temporary right. In certain cases where MLD-V Limited decides to delete certain data sets from its databases (we no longer need the personal data for the purpose of processing), from the moment of our decision until the moment of actual deletion, you can make a reasoned request to object to the deletion – e.g., the fact that you need this data for the establishment, exercise, or defense of a legal claim. Following such a request, we will "freeze" the data, stopping their processing for a certain period of time.
  6. Right to data portability - Art. 20 GDPR. You have the right to receive the personal data concerning you that you have provided to us (processed based on a contract or your consent, by automated means) in a structured, commonly used, and machine-readable format and you have the right to transmit this data to another controller without hindrance from us. In other words, you can request the personal data we hold in a structured format that you can access, download, or send to another controller.
  7. Right to object - Art. 21 GDPR. You have the right to object, for example, to the processing of your personal data when they are processed for direct marketing purposes. More specifically, for example, in the case of newsletters from MLDPHARMA, you will always have the possibility to unsubscribe. We offer this possibility in absolutely all situations, regardless of whether the law obliges us to or not (not all our emails are considered direct marketing), precisely because it is important to us that we only communicate with you for as long as you wish us to.
  8. Right not to be subject to a decision based solely on automated processing, including profiling, which produces legal effects concerning the data subject or similarly significantly affects them. MLD-V Limited does not perform such profiling that would be followed by automated decisions with legal or similarly significant effects for you.
